<p>I used to weigh a lot, I won’t get down to the gory details but you just know that I used to be overweight. I had a lot of trouble getting a dame to look in my direction and as is expected I ended up resenting myself. I did not like the way I looked and if I did not like the way I look then who would like the way I look. A bit of a tongue twister I know but in short you got to love yourself before others could be able to love you. I started drinking and experimenting with all sorts of drugs with the hope that I could feel good about myself. I must say this self medication only helped me forget my situation when I was high but the moment I got sober the painful reality hit me like a knife stab on the back. </p>
<p>Finally after a bit of souls searching I decided enough was enough, the only person who could help me change my situation was me and no one else but me. I already knew the problem I had, which was a low self esteem because of being overweight. After identifying the problem the next step was to come up with a solution which would enable me lose that excess weight. I started doing some research over the internet in order to find clues which could help me be able to lose weight. This however brought with it another problem; there were a lot of conflicting stories about the proper way to lose weight and each claimed to the best method of losing weight. I became very confused because I was not able to reach a decision as to which method I should use in order to lose weight. </p>
<p>Then lady luck smiled in my direction and I heard of a certain fitness seminar which was to be held in our local neighborhood and the sole theme of the seminar was on weight loss. When I attended the seminar the information I got there was very useful for me because it enabled me to lose weight within a short time span of six months and I hope to share this information with you. </p>
<p>We were encouraged to go on diet which is nutritionally based and not to go on those fad diets which focus on reducing calories drastically. We were also told to exercise and stay fit by performing aerobic exercises and strength training exercises. The reason for these exercises was to enable us to increase our metabolism and thus the body will end up burning more calories. I started out with a lot of difficulty at first but after one month it became part of my lifestyle. That was when I realized that everything was possible even losing body weight. </p>
